As
you can see, our space at the 2016 Washington Auto Show was ready for the
show’s opening on Friday, January 22nd. But then the snow arrived, 30+
inches in some areas, forcing the opening of the show to be delayed until
Tuesday, January 26th. When the show did open, attendees were greeted by
four classic Cadillacs on display: Charles Gillet’s 1931 V-16 All-Weather
Phaeton, Randy & Susan Denchfield’s 1949 Series 62 Club Coupe, Mark E.
Brodsky’s 1966 Fleetwood Brougham and Chuck & Debbie Piel’s 1967 Deville
Convertible, in addition to the volunteers who staffed the area including
Franklin Gage, Sandy Kemper, Arianna Tuwiner, Chuck & Debbie Piel, Sam &
Karen Jackson, Dan Ruby, Harry Scott, Larry Lane, Randy & Susan Denchfield,
Chris Overcash, Denise King, Bill Harrison, Mike Kerwin and others. Thanks
again to Daniel Jobe for arranging a booth for us, to Franklin Gage, booth
coordinator, to the volunteers who staffed the booth and to the owners of
the vehicles on display. |
